Colored rank belts suited specifically for BJJ practitioners.
BJJ belts differ in a few minor ways from typical karate belts. The material used is carefully crafted to be durable, but also flexible enough to stay on during grappling. Each belt also features a sleeve whereupon teachers can place rank stripes if they so choose.
what is the length of the a3 in inches
I bought 3 blue belts for my students, the sizes left plenty of extra belt in the tails based on the gi sizes (no need to order a size up). As described the above the color is a a little off from the picture above and was a lighter blue, but I don't think I would describe it as "neon turquoise", just light blue. Overall they felt like strong belts and now we will see what the test of time does
I am totally disappointed in this product. It looks more like its a North Carolina Blue color. Never took it out of the packaging. This is going back tonight.
The blue belt pictured is not the same color as the one you receive. The actual color is a kind of weird neon turquoise rather than the standard navy or baby blue. Overall it's a good belt, and it does stand out in a pile, so as long as your instructor is cool with a non-uniform look among his team, this might actually be an unexpectedly good choice, at least if you want to be sure that the belt you grab off the floor is always your belt.
