The 100 Kilo has been revised and is now back better than ever! The 450 GSM Gold weave fabric is soft and breathable, but not at the expense of durability. With the v2 edition, 93 Brand has perfected the pre-washing and pre-shrinking processes for their unbleached fabrics so that they're consistently and thoroughly free of shedding, stretching, and shrinkage. Their 10 oz. twill pants have all of the important qualities you could ask for, as they are lightweight, durable, and comfortable. With knee reinforcements and a crotch gusset made from the jacket weave, you've got added comfort and strength. Knee reinforcements are extended beyond the typical point, resulting in greater coverage for your knees while rolling.
Graphics include high-quality embroideries and woven patches, all following a grey-scale color scheme with maroon borders that complement the light color of unbleached cotton. Trim is kept simple, including the dark grey drawstring and minimal contrast stitching throughout select areas. Interior seams and cuffs are lined with a simple, solid red twill.
Overall, the 100 Kilo and its anvil interior label are inspired by the old school and ultra-heavy "Cem Kilos" position.
Are there any plans to restock this Gi? Thanks.
I think 93 Brand is working on an updated version instead of restocking this model.
I ordered the Ao. I'm female 5'1 120 and GI swallows me whole. I'm busy trying to shrink it but there's no way the pants will ever work :(. I could fit 2 more legs and five more asses in them. I had it embroidered so no returns :(. I'm so unhappy. Very soft GI though. Wish it fit!
Would you say the cut/fit is similar to that of the Tau? I ask cause I fit a Hooks 2.0 in A2H after several hot washes/drying, but trying on the Tau in A2H was much too big. If it's similar to the unbleached, I'd prefer that model.
A2L fits me well after shrinking it in the wash/dryer, I'm 6'2, 160lb. Most comfortable gi I've ever worn. Gi top is a medium weight, the pants are a littler heavier then average but both seem very durable. I've only been using the gi for two weeks so I can't comment on how well it holds up over time yet. Love the design, simple and good color choices.
I'm about 6'1.75", ~175, long legs/short torso/average arms for my height, will an A2L work for me?
Also, where in relation to the position/submission stitching would my custom stitching be?
A2L would be a perfect fit!
And the embroidery would be just to the inside of the position/submission, but since this is one of the few Gis with an embroidery already there... we could make an exception and put the embroidery on the other side. If you decide to place an order, shoot us an email with your order number and specify where you'd like it.
I know the size chart says I should fall into an a2, but I'm 5'8" 170, and Ive read others say they were taller than I fitting into the a1L well, any suggestions?
It'll be close due to your weight, but worth a try. If it's too snug, you know you can return it to us :) Personally, I'd give it a shot!
At 5'8", the A2 will possibly be a bit long depending on how long your arms are.
I'm 5'7 and 165 and supposed to be an A2. I bought an A1 and it fits perfectly after one wash and dry session.
